For all data-protection enquiries, please contact us using the details above, marking your communication “Data Protection”.
This notice describes how Elite Recruiters Ltd handles personal data collected via the website elite-recruiters.com. Where you become a candidate or client and we hold further data about you in the course of an executive-search engagement, an extended candidate / client privacy notice will be provided to you separately at the point of engagement.
The website’s contact form does not transmit your data to any server. When you submit it, your browser composes an email in your own mail client containing the details you entered. Once you choose to send that email, we then receive and process:
The website is hosted as static content on Amazon S3 / Amazon CloudFront. As is technically necessary to deliver any web page, our hosting infrastructure briefly processes your IP address, the timestamp of the request, the resource requested, the response status, and basic technical headers (browser agent, referrer). These access logs are retained for security and abuse-prevention purposes for a maximum of [retention period — to be confirmed, typically 30–90 days] and are not used to profile individual visitors.
This website embeds typefaces (Fraunces and Manrope) served by Google Fonts from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. To deliver the fonts, your browser will establish a connection to Google servers in the United States, in the course of which Google will receive your IP address and request metadata. We have no control over the further processing carried out by Google. If you wish to avoid this transfer, you may block third-party requests in your browser settings; the site will then render with system fallback typefaces.
| Purpose | Legal basis (Art. 6 (1) UK / EU GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Responding to your enquiry sent via the contact form | (b) steps prior to entering into a contract at your request, or (f) our legitimate interest in responding to direct enquiries |
| Operation, security and integrity of the website | (f) our legitimate interest in providing a functioning and secure online service |
| Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations | (c) compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject |
| Loading third-party web fonts | (f) our legitimate interest in consistent visual presentation; we plan to migrate to locally hosted fonts to remove this transfer |
Personal data processed via this site is accessible only to authorised personnel of Elite Recruiters Ltd. We share personal data with the following categories of third party only where strictly necessary:
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for advertising purposes. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or fingerprinting on this website.
The hosting infrastructure we use is configured in the [AWS region — e.g. eu-west-1, Ireland — to be confirmed]. Web font delivery and email-services delivery may involve transfers of personal data outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where this is the case, the transfer is protected by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, for transfers from the UK, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, supplemented where necessary by appropriate technical and organisational measures.
Enquiries received via the contact form are retained for as long as is necessary to respond to and conclude the enquiry, plus a further period not exceeding twelve months for record-keeping. Where an enquiry leads to a candidate or client relationship, the relevant data is migrated to our candidate / client records and is subject to the retention period set out in the corresponding privacy notice for that relationship. Server access logs are retained as described in section 3.2.
Subject to the conditions set out in the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at simon.king@elite-recruiters.com. We will respond within one calendar month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). In the European Union, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of the Member State in which you habitually reside, in which you work, or in which the alleged infringement took place. We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns directly first.
This website does not set first-party cookies for tracking, analytics, advertising or profiling purposes. The site uses only the technical browser storage strictly necessary for its operation — which, for this static website, is essentially none. No consent banner is therefore presented, in line with the principle that purely technically necessary processing requires no separate consent under § 25 (2) TTDSG (Germany) and the equivalent UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
Should we add analytics, video embeds, or any non-essential third-party technologies in the future, we will update this notice and introduce a compliant consent mechanism beforehand.
We do not use automated decision-making (including profiling) within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR on this website or in our placement work.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access. Static content is delivered over TLS; access to candidate and client records is restricted to named personnel and protected by multi-factor authentication.
We may update this privacy notice from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The “last reviewed” date at the foot of this page will be updated accordingly. Material changes will be brought to the attention of registered candidates and clients by direct notification.
